> SSCAC MEETING:


The last meeting (77th) of the Sardar Sarovar Construction Advisory Committee (SSCAC) was held on 7th  May 2010 at New Delhi in which following issues were discussed:

 

> 

Insurance Coverage for Sardar Sarovar Power Project (SSP).

 

 

> 

Payment of Share cost of Sardar Sarovar Project by the party States.

 

 

> 

Draft proposal for Annual Development Plan (2008-2009) of Unit-I (Dam and Appurtenant) works and Unit-III (Hydro Power) works of SSP.

 

 

> 

Revised Implementation Schedule (RIS-September 2003) for construction of Garudeshwar weir of SSP.

 

 

> 

Claim put forth by M/s Jaiprakash Associates on account of shortfall in concrete progress during the various working seasons from 1993-94 to 1997-98 due to the restrictions imposed in raising the spillway of Sardar Sarovar Dam.

 

 

> 

Review of progress of Unit-I and Unit -III works of SSP.

 

> 

Real Time Data Acquisition System (RTDAS) commissioning of Water Management System.

 

> 

 

Pending payment to M/s BHEL for their supply of CHPH & RBPH Hydro equipment.

 

> 

 

Installation of regulatory mechanism for Godbole gate.

 

 

> 

 

Closure of contract with m/s BHEL for   Work Package- I & II of EMC project.

 

> 

Share cost of SSCAC secretariat.
