The implementation of Resettlement and Rehabilitation works in being monitored by a sub-group of the Narmada Control Authority under the Chairmanship of Secretary, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India.

The implementation of Environmental related works of Sardar Sarovar Project is being monitored by another sub-group of the Narmada Control Authority under the chairmanship of Secretary, Ministry of Environment and Forests, Government of India.
